She was of the Baptist faith.
She and her late husband, Lawrence L. Casson, were the owners and operators of Casson’s Market.
She was the daughter of the late Mark Miller and Anna Lee Ownby Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Casson.
She is survived by her three children: Steve Casson, Larry Casson and wife, Pam, and Cathey Shreve and husband, Randy, all of Cleveland; four grandchildren: Josh Casson and wife, Therese, of California, Jeremy Berggren of Cleveland, Trevor Casson and Lindsey Shreve, all of Cleveland; two great-grandchildren: Connor and Makenzi Casson of California; three brothers: Clinton Miller and wife, Evalene, of Dalton, Ga., David Miller and wife, Gayla, and Eddie Miller and wife, Elaine, all of Cleveland; three sisters: Hazel Hindman and husband, Herb, of Cleveland, Amol Reagan of Cohutta, Ga., and Beatrice Watson of Cleveland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, the Rev. Wilburn Walker and Ann Walker; and a special appreciation to Bradley Healthcare and the staff of Wing 3.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilburn Walker officiating.
Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Mark Miller, Scott Miller, Roger Hindman, Robbie Hindman, Roger Miller, Danny Reagan, Gary Williams, Stephen Miller, Jeremy Berggren and Ricky Hale serving as pallbearers.
A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
