Polk pounded out 11 hits in the win. Danielle Harvey picked up two singles and scored three times and Lily Cuzzort recorded four RBIs and a double. Caroline Jenkins, Jordan Triplett and Briana Muller supplied three hits apiece for the Lady ’Cats.
Triplett also earned the complete-game win out of the circle for Polk, scattering five hits and three walks with two strikeouts. She gave up no earned runs.
