Donnie Swaggart of Swaggart Ministries of Baton Rouge, La., will be the guest evangelist March 23-25 at Pine Hill Church of God.

Friday and Saturday services are at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

“I am called by God to bring the message of Pentecost to those bound by cold, formal, lifeless religion, and to reintroduce the Pentecostal fire and the Pentecostal way of life to those of my generation who have never gone beyond the initial baptism experience,” Swaggart said.

His “ministry gift is his powerful teaching and preaching concerning the Person of the Holy Spirit and is thoroughly Pentecostal in content and presentation. Through his anointed preaching, thousands around the world have been baptized with the Holy Spirit, with as many as 400 people being filled in one service.”

He has been involved in full-time ministry work for more than 20 years. His ministry travels have taken him across the United States, South Africa, Australia, Scotland, England, Sweden, Norway, Brazil, Mexico, and Papua New Guinea, Nigeria, France, Iceland, India and Canada.

Swaggart serves as co-pastor with his father, the Rev. Jimmy Swaggart, at the Family Worship Center Church in Baton Rouge.

Pine Hill Church of God is located at 1484 Old Alabama Road, three miles south of McDonald. From Highway 11, turn left on Old Chattanooga Pike and right on Old Alabama Road. The church is three miles on the right.

David Beaty, church pastor, extends “a cordial invitation to everyone to join us for these services at the little church out in the country with a big welcome for one and all.”
