After a slow start the Mustangs were able to pull off a 3-0 victory over Red Bank.
Walker Valley had 13 shots on goal for their second regular season victory on the road.
Goals came from Marcus Houston, Corey Kraft, and Aaron Benavides. Kraft pushed a penalty kick by the Lions’ keeper and Benavides was able to head the ball into the net. Despite a foot injury, Brad Hoffner was able to play all 80 minutes and collected three saves.
“We have a lot to work on but it always feels good to get a win. Red Bank played us tough and exposed a lot of our weaknesses, things we will need to address quickly before our game with McMinn Central this Thursday,” said assistant coach Alan Bivens.
