Our home was one of many damaged by Friday’s tornadoes [March 2]. This left us planning and wondering when and how we would get things cleaned up and back on the road to normal.
On Saturday, I heard chainsaws out my window. I looked to see a family with two young boys cutting and removing our downed tree. I didn’t get to speak to them before they moved on to help someone else. I now want to say thank you to them and all those who volunteered their time and energy to their friends and neighbors during this time.
