Looking to remain unbeaten, the Colts and Lady Colts played host to talented squads from crosstown rival Lake Forest Middle and Riceville Elementary Thursday afternoon at Chatata Valley Golf Club. Rising to the occasion, the squads from Ocoee Middle downed both visiting teams.
Behind a stellar 37 over nine holes from Baylor McGowan, the Colts posted a 158 which was good enough to best both Lake Forest and Riceville. Dylan Lillard and Cory Rollins added to the score with a pair of 39s while Nick McCracken fired a 44 to round out the scoring for the boys.
Tyler Parris led the way for the Bruins, carding a 47 and was followed closely by a 49 from Matthew Maynard.
Katie Medley continued her steady play for the girls, shooting a 45 to lead the Lady Colts to a 93-110-123 victory over Riceville and Lake Forest.
Olivia Williams and Olivia Lee also shot 48 for the girls.
Both the Colts and Lady Colts will take some time off over spring break and return to action on April 3 with a trip to Brown Acres to take on Chattanooga Christian School.
The Lady Colts now stand at 7-0 and the Colts 6-0 on the season.
