Live entertainment, food and an auction will be held Saturday, beginning at noon and continuing until 10 p.m., as a disaster relief benefit.

The afternoon of activities is designed to help people in the community who lost their homes in the tornadoes of March 2.

The benefit will be held at Savannah Oaks Winery, 1817 Delano Road, Delano.

Delano is part of Polk County hard hit by the storms earlier this month.

The Madisonville Civitan Club is overseeing the day’s events. All proceeds will go to those affected in our area, a representative said.

An auction will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. featuring items donated for area businesses. All proceeds will go to the victims of the storm.

Don Welch from News Channel 9 will be emceeing for the afternoon. Broadcasting from the winery will be 101.7 WJSQ and 94.9 WLAR.

Individuals who are in need, due to the tornadoes, may contact the sponsors at the Winery to be put on the list for aid. Call 423-263-1513.
