The Colt pitching staff allowed the Bruins only three base runners in the contest.
Jeremiah Sims pitched five innings, allowing one hit and one walk, striking out 10. Charlie Hammonds came on for the final two frames, giving up one hit and striking out a pair.
Ben Clark and Avery Jones continued their hot streak at the plate, with Jones going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases and an RBI. Clark was 3-for-4 and also stole a base and drove in one.
Tyler Carpenter, Sims and Nathan Kirby all had two hits each, while Matthew Meadows also had a hit for the Colts.
The Colts will resume play April 3 against CCS at home at 6:30 and on April 4 at home against McMinn County. They are now 3-0 in the SETAC Conference and currently lead the conference standings.
