He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Lily Louise Ledford Browder; father, Thomas Franklin Browder; mother, Ethel Pauline Smith Browder; brother, James Browder; and sisters: Margie Wilcox and Wilma Sampson.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law: Angie and Paul Long of Cisco, Ga., Christy and Scott Gargala of Old Fort, and Kimberly North and Ricky Kendrick, both of Chatsworth, Ga.; son, Danny Browder of Calhoun, Ga.; brothers and sister-in-law: Johnny and Leona Browder and William Hoyt Browder, all of Old Fort; sisters and brother-in-law: Mary and Lowell Keith and Marie Bishop, all of Cleveland; grandchildren: Caleb Gargala, Nathan Gargala and his wife, Lauren, Amanda Long, Wesley Long, Brooke North Callaway, and Deker Kendrick; great-grandchild, McKenlie Callaway; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2012, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home of Chatsworth with the Revs. Ronald Guffey and Chad Maxwell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m.
