She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Harris Chapman; parents, Pete and Elizabeth Officer Finnell; and infant son, Leroy Chapman.
Survivors include her children: Billy Chapman and Carol Elizabeth Nolen, both of Cleveland; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Charles Finnell of Little Rock, Ark.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2012, in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with the Revs. Marvin Fowler and Frank Nolen officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family requests memorials be made to the East Cleveland Baptist Church, 1145 Arnold St. N.E., Cleveland, TN 37311.
