Ronnie and Peg Bishop
In April 1988, Trinity Chapel was originated as new work for Christ by Ronnie and Peg Bishop. The church’s beginning services were held at the Oak Grove Ruritan Club Building.
“After several months, God opened the door to purchase a church building located off Bates Pike,” the Bishops said.
With the blessings of God and nine years later, God opened the doors again to purchase a new and larger church building at 2779 APD 40, S.E., the present location for the past 15 years.
As Pastor Bishop ministers in word, his wife, Peg, plays the organ, sings solos, and leads the praise and worship choir.
The Bishops’ two children, Hayley Bishop-Bonner and Gabriel Bishop, who plays the piano, sing solos.
The Bishops invite everyone to join them in the 24th anniversary celebration during the 11:15 a.m. worship service.
