Ruby Mae Mikle Stamey, 80, a resident of Cleveland, passed away peacefully at her home, Monday, April 2, 2012.

She was the daughter of the late Hazel Miller Mikle and Wheeler Mikle. She was also preceded in death by her son, Carl Dewayne Stamey; sister, Bonnie Lee Mikle; and her brother, Roy G. Mikle.

She retired from Duracell, with more than 32 years of service.

She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.

She enjoyed reading as well as watching Turner Classic movies and loved spending time with her three cats.

She is survived by two daughters: Roxanne Sigmon Colbaugh and Rhonda Smith, both of Cleveland; four grandchildren: Ashley Miranda Sigmon, Tyler Edward Colbaugh, Jarrod Heath Smith and his wife, Amanda Faye, and Jeremy Craig Smith, all of Cleveland; and three great- grandchildren: Takoda James Sigmon, Destiny Caraleh Deyton and Desireh Michell Deyton.

A remembrance of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Ministers Vern Gleason and Ralph Olvea officiating.

Interment will follow at the Fort Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
