For the third year, Covenant Baptist Church members and friends carried three crosses along Keith Street from the Village Green to Stuart Road to commemorate Christ’s death on the cross. Michelle Moats, who coordinated Saturday’s walk, said the walk was a representation of the great suffering Jesus Christ did for mankind as he suffered and died on the cross.
