The Cherokee Hiking Club will hold its annual joint meeting with the Hiwassee Hiking Club, Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church in Etowah. Ron Cooper, who has hiked the Trail of Tears, will be speaking about his experiences and presenting a slide show. Members are asked to bring a potluck item for the supper.
