On March 29, a group of students from the event management class at Lee University hosted an evening of desserts, jazz and fellowship for its Encore students. Encore is an educational enrichment program for people age 60 and above. The event management students needed real-life experience for their class project and chose to serve Encore as a client. The traditional students frequently hear about and interact with Encore students, but leaders said this was a great way to get to know them.
