He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ella Willis; and a brother, Walter Willis.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Willis of Cleveland; granddaughters: Vianca Willis, Yasmin Willis, and Nora Willis, all of Cleveland; sisters: Joyce Willis, Irene Mason, Sharon Powell and Margaret Fairbanks, all of Cleveland: brothers: Robert Willis of Birchwood and Junior Willis, both of Cleveland; nieces: Cindy McCann, Rachel Willis, Crystal Willis, Donna Lambert, Mary Powell and Marsha Ritchie ; and nephews: Julian Hamby, Steven Powell, Billy Mason and John Henry.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2012, at the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Jerry Herron officiating.
Interment will follow in the Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery with Crystal Willis, Roy Ritchie, Ricky Lanbert, Billy Stewart, Steven Hicks and Shane McCann serving as casketbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
