Tonya Darlene Davis, 41, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012, in a Chattanooga hospital.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Julie Welch Berry.

At the time of her death, she was employed with Santek Corporation as a receptionist.

She enjoyed reading walking in the park and playing with her grandchildren. She was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include her son, William Zachary Hicks of Georgetown, Texas; grandchildren: Marissa Hicks and Jensen Hicks; father, Kevin Berry of Cleveland; sisters: Anne Beal of Cleveland and Tina Phillips and her husband, Larry, of Lamontville; brothers: Orrin Berry and his wife, Tonya, of Hattiesburg, Miss., Jeffrey Berry of Tunnel Hill, Ga.; nieces: Shea Berry and Kayla Grissom; and her nephews: Cory Grissom and Dakota Price.

The Remembrance of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012, from the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Ronnie Hyde officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
