Heather Biddwell of Benton became the bride of Dustin Painter of Old Fort in an afternoon ceremony on Jan. 7, 2012, at Chestuee Baptist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Vicki Biddwell of Benton. She is the granddaughter of Brenda Mullinax of Benton, Emma Beard of Cleveland, the late Homer Beard and great-granddaughter of Bessie Rich of Delano and the late Arville Rich.

The bridegroom is the son of Bobby and Jeanne Painter of Old Fort. He is the grandson of Martha Painter of Old Fort, Tascar and Irene Teasley of Dalton, Ga., and the late Nellie Lou Teasley.

The wedding was officiated by the bride’s grandmother, Brenda Mullinax. Nuptial music was presented by the bride’s brother, Devin Biddwell of Benton.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her cousin Jessica Grady of Cleveland, was her attendant. Brady Wilson of Old Fort was best man to the bridegroom. Colin Rich of Signal Mountain, the bride’s cousin, was usher.

The bride’s cousins, Hannah Lawson and Lucas Grady, both of Cleveland, were flower girl and ring bearer.

The reception was given by the parents of the bridegroom. Cathy Carter, Susan Morgan and Jennifer Young assisted and served. Ethan Biddwell, the bride’s cousin, kept the bride’s book.

Mrs. Painter is a homeschool graduate of Cornerstone Christian School and is employed by Super Saver in Ocoee. Mr. Painter is a graduate of Polk County High School and is employed by Peyton’s Southeastern.

After a wedding trip to Pigeon Forge, the newlywed couple is at home in Benton.
