Mary Ann (Judy) Talley McNabb, 84, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012, in a local healthcare facility.

She graduated from Bradley Central High School in 1945 and retired from the U.S. Post Office in 1971 after being one of the first female postal workers in Cleveland.

She was a 61-year member of Broad Street United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Rodgers Sunday School Class and the Congregational Care Ministry.

She was the daughter of the late Sterling and Hazel Gold Talley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray McNabb; siblings: Martha Jean, Jack, Hugh and Joe Talley; stepson, Gar McNabb; and stepgranddaughter, Amy Adams McBrayer.

She is survived by her son, Steve McNabb; and daughter Nell McNabb, both of Cleveland; daughter, Ann Crisp and son-in-law George Bartnik of Chattanooga; stepdaughter, Ita Ray McNabb Sienknecht of Knoxville; grandson, Damien Crisp of New York City; granddaughter, Caroline Adams Napier of Franklin; nieces: Ron Talley of Boone, N.C., and Brenda Talley Jones of Cleveland; and nephew, Bill Talley, of Odessa, Texas.

Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. today, April 15, 2012, at Broad Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Debbie Stokes and the Rev. Reed Shell officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Robert Bradney, Garry Rodgers, Wes Rodgers, Ken Wilds, George Bartnik and C.L. Suits Jr. serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Rodgers Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. today at the church prior to the service.
