He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John George Perdue and Oval Etta Perdue.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal Sue Perdue; sons: James Darrell Stewart, George Allen Stewart and John Thomas Perdue; and daughter, Wilma Jane Summers, all of Cleveland; brothers: Jake Perdue, Roger Perdue, Ricky Perdue and Thomas Perdue; sister, Sandra McIntyre; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Grissom Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Lockman officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
