Harold Dwayne Bryson, 65, of Etowah, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012, at his residence.

He served six years in the US Army National Guard.

He was a son of the late Layton and Frances Bryson. He was preceded in death by his brother, C.L. Bryson.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Lisa Bryson of Englewood; daughters and son-in-law: Teri and David Onbey and Tonya Brown, all of Etowah; brothers: Jimmy Bryson of Benton and Lynn Bryson, of Ringgold, Ga.; sisters: Joan Bush and Tracy Alexander, both of Cleveland; grandchildren: Sara, Caleb, Michael, Josh, Kiera, Anika, Logan and Noah; special friend, Margaret Bryson of Etowah.

The funeral will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2012, in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home in Etowah with the Rev. Pete Morgan officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 Tuesday, prior to the service.

The family and friends will assemble at 10 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home and proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 11 a.m., committal service with military honors.
