The couple will exchange wedding vows on Aug. 4 at First Baptist Church of Charleston.
The bride-elect is the mother of Savannah Gaston of Charleston. She is the granddaughter of Phyllis Shamblin of Charleston and the late Houston Shamblin, Curtis Gaston of Cleveland and the late Betty Gaston. She is the sister of Bruce Gaston of Charleston.
Miss Gaston attended Walker Valley High School.
Mr. Russell is the father of Weston “Gage” Russell and Zain Russell, both of Ocoee.
