Mildred Alberta Clements Thompson was born April 7, 1935, in Cleveland to the late Mattie Dunn and Ruben Roosevelt Clements.

She leaves to cherish her memories her three daughters: Zenobia Miller of Nashville, Phyllis Wells, and Margaret Ramsey, all of Cleveland; sons: Calvin Thompson Jr., Ricky Thompson and Robert E. Thompson, all of Cleveland; sisters: Naomi Manning of Nashville, Peggy Johnson, and Emma Jo Thomas, both of Cleveland; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was married to the late Calvin Leslie Thompson for 29 year before his passing, and to this union was born six children.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. today, May 8, 2012, at St. James CPCA Church with the Rev. Rhonda Westfield officiating.

The body may be viewed from 9 a.m to 8 p.m. today at Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair St.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will assemble at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. and will be departing at 1 p.m.
