Taylor Andrew Morris will graduate as valedictorian and Caitlin Lee Geren will graduate as salutatorian.
Morris is the son of Randy and Kalin Morris. During all four of his years at Walker Valley, Morris was a member of the Beta Club, Circle of Champions, and Tennessee Scholars. He is also a member of the National Honor Society. He was the President of Mu Alpha Theta and parliamentarian of Future Business Leaders of America. He participated in the Bridge Program in Math and Science at Sewanee this past summer, where he conducted comet observation. The results of this were published at the Harvard-Smithsonian Minor Planet Center. He has received several computer industry certifications. Morris plans to attend Suwanee: The University of the South in the fall as a Benedict Scholar to study physics.
Geren is the daughter of David and Carline Geren. Geren played varsity volleyball, and was a member of Anchor Club, Beta Club, Circle of Champions, Mu Alpha Theta, Future Business Leaders of America and Tennessee Scholars as well as the National Honor Society. Geren has been active in the community through various volunteer efforts throughout high school. She plans to attend Lee University and major in education.
