Their first tournament victory was over Lake Forest, 7-0. Nathan Kirby was the winning pitcher with Ben Clark and Jacob Buckner closing out the game for Ocoee. Ocoee did not allow a single run in the three games with the Bruins this year. The Colts won by scores of 4-0, 6-0 and 7-0.
Ocoee then advanced to the winner’s bracket finals against Chattanooga Christian, winning 10-1 behind six innings from Jeremiah Sims. Buckner closed the game for the Colts. The championship game was played on Friday, with the Colts winning against CCS by the identical score of 10-1. Ben Clark pitched three innings with Charlie Hammonds and Kirby pitching two innings each.
