Council Baptist Church, 1415 Upper River Road in Charleston, will have a special Mother’s Day service, Sunday at 11 a.m. Nathan and Lisa Lee, who serve as houseparents with the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home in Chattanooga, will be guest speakers.

The Seekers will sing Sunday for Mother Day at Southview Baptist Church, 13th and Aurora Avenue, at 10:30 a.m.

Unity Church of God, Fulbright Road, will have a gospel singing, Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Featured singers will be Ron Brewer and Ever Lasting. Food will be served beginning at 5 p.m.

The Gospel Soul Seekers will sing at Four Point Baptist Church Sunday at 6 p.m.

The Greesons will be at the Cross Baptist Church, 3191 South Lee Highway, Sunday at 10:45 a.m.

Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church is having a concert on May 20 at 3 p.m., 3425 Blair Road. The church will be featuring its Male Chorus, Shirley Purifory and much more.
