“A Taste of English Gardens” will be presented May 22 at 7 p.m. in the Cleveland Bradley Community Room by Master Gardener Ruth Baumgardner, owner of Mouse Creek Perennial Farms.
“What Keeps You Up at Night” will be the next program at the library by Della Lowe from the Sleep Labs of the South on June 12 at 7 p.m. Registration has begun for all of our summer reading programs including children and teens. All events are open at no charge to the public.
Friends of the Library Association will hold its Book and Coffee review on May 18 at the Craigmiles-Johnston House History Branch Library at 10 a.m. The Rev. Joel Huffstetler from St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will review Pat Conroy’s “My Reading Life.” All are invited to attend this free FOLA event. You don’t have to have read the book to enjoy the review, and FOLA supplies the coffee!
The Teen program, “Own the Night,” will kick off with an after hours masquerade party Phantom of the Opera style on June 15 at 7 p.m. at the library. TAG has scheduled different activities for teens all summer including game nights, improv class, Manga/Anime drawing, movies, and many after hour events. Check out the library’s website for details.

The Fine Arts Academy of First Cumberland Presbyterian church will present a spring recital on May 17 at 6 p.m. in the Dixon Center at Lee University. The recital wil linclude 54 piano and vocal students.
The Gem Players commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War with the stage production of Frank W.
