She was born March 2, 1932, in Knoxville to the late Lela Mae (Gideon) Crisp and Lestel Edwin Crisp.
She graduated from Young High School in Knoxville in 1955 and was a member of the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for more than 47 years. She was a very loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Frank Hampton Jr.; daughter, Sharon Kay Gore; and brother, Neil Edwin Crisp.
She is survived by her son, Robert Anderson and his wife, Angie; sister, Bonnie Thomas of Knoxville; six grandchildren, Greg Gore, Jodie Gore Ihfe, Johnny Gore, Jillian Walker, Jennifer Anderson Crisp and Stephanie Anderson; Five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Spring Place Road with Elder Rockne Winner and Elder Jeremiah Tant officiating.
A Committal Service will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, at Fike Funeral Home.
