Donald Earl Pharr, 71, of Birchwood, went home to be with the Lord on Monday evening, May 14, 2012.

He was a longtime resident of Hamilton County and was owner and operator of Georgia Machinery Sales Company Inc. for the past 42 years.

He was a member of Mount Olive Ministries in Cleveland, where he served as head usher.

He was the son of the late Earl and Jessie Pharr.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Pharr; daughter, Krista (Charles) Graves of Dalton, Ga.; stepdaughter, Kristie (Steven) Perry of Hixson; two brothers: Gene (Kaye) Pharr of Charlotte, N.C., and Larry (Virginia) Pharr of Phoenix; two grandsons, Joseph Perry and Will Perry; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2012, in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, with the Revs. Gary Sears and Larry Pharr officiating.

Interment will follow at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville, Ga., with Mike Brantley, Steve Robinson, Bill Rominger, Lawrence Mathews, Dave Hollaway and Donald Brown serving as pallbearers.
