She was born on Jan. 13, 1948, in Athens. She was a daughter of the late Raymond and Daisy Minnis.
She has been a resident of the Cleveland area for more than 30 years. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church.
She was retired from Rubbermaid Corporation after 33 years of employment.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Wacaster; one sister, Barbara Dean Crane; and four brothers: Raymond Minnis, Bob Minnis, Kenneth Minnis, and Ralph Minnis.
She leaves here to cherish her memory two daughters: Tracy Overstreet and husband, Steven, and Stacy Lendermen, both of Cleveland; one brother, Frank Neil Clementson Jr.; one grandson, Dustin Shane Orr; the father of her children, James C. Lendermen; and several other extended family members and friends.
At her request, there will be no public visitation or services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a memorial fund to offset her medical bills and request memorials be sent to The Cora Lendermen Medical Expense Fund, 111 Durkee Road No. 89, Cleveland TN 37323.
