Copper Basin High School will hold graduation exercises on Friday at 7 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.

William Jonathan Barker is graduating as valedictorian. Madeline Gilley and Holly Thomas are graduating as co-salutatorians.

Baker, the son of Angie and Scott Barker, is planning to attend the University of Tennessee in the fall and study pre-med. He has a 4.0 GPA, and he has received awards for English 9, Algebra I, world history, U.S. history, English 11 and Algebra II. He was also selected for the America Legion Boys State and the NRECA Washington Youth Tour.

Gilley, daughter of Tim and Nickie Gilley, is planning to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in the fall and major in education. She has a 3.9 GPA, and she has received the U.S. history award and been an alternate for Girls’ State.

Thomas, daughter of Ricky Thomas and Heather Wells, is planning to attend Cleveland State and major in nursing. She has a 3.9 GPA, and she has received the Biology I award as well as the anatomy and physiology award.
