She was born in Cleveland.
She was in the upholstery business for her entire life. She started working at AJ Kay upholstery and then had her own business for several years.
She was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church.
She enjoyed gardening, embroidery, crafts, reading and cooking for all family occasions. She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren.
Surviving are her loving husband of 41 years, Kenneth Quandt, of Fort Wayne, Ind., mother, Mary E. Sewell of Cleveland; children; Gail (Howard) Green of Chatsworth, Ga., Jackie (Sammy) Dailey of Cleveland, Terry Joe Smith of Fort Wayne, Ind., Jeff Albert Smith of Cleveland, and Brett (Amy) Quandt of Angola; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brothers: Bill Sewell and Don (Jimmy Lou) Sewell, both of Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by father, Albert Thomas Sewell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 am, Monday, May 21, 2012, at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Gurtner officiating.
Visitation will be held at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road Sunday, May 20, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
Interment will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind.
