Cleveland Police are in charge of an investigation after car parts were reported taken from a car which was parked at a repair shop.

According to an initial offense report filed by officer Brandy Brown of the Cleveland Police Department, David Phillips of D.C.&M Auto Repair on South Ocoee Street said an employee noticed a door to a vehicle open.

A Kenwood compact disc player and a SunPro Racing tachometer had been taken from the vehicle.

The report indicated the doors to the vehicle could not be secured. The missing items were valued at $525.

- A large utility trailer was reported stolen from a home located on Westview Drive which is in northwest Cleveland, according to a report filed by officer Travis Graig of CPD.

Frances Kellar said someone took the dual-axle 20-foot trailer from the yard at her home.

A serial number was not immediately available, according to Graig’s report.

The trailer was valued at $1,900.

Investigation is being conducted by detective Matt Jenkins of CPD’s Criminal Investigations Division.

- Court security deputies arrested a man during court earlier this week after he was continually warned about excessive talking while court was in session, according to a report filed by Sgt. James Bradford, the arresting deputy.

Ricky Lee Dean Gray, 23, was charged with disrupting a meeting or procession.

According to Bradford’s affidavit, Gray was sitting in the gallery of the General Sessions Courtroom and was talking “excessively to the people around him.”

He had been warned numerous times to stop talking and was ordered to leave the courtroom.

After Bradford told Gray to leave the courtroom, Gray allegedly began “cursing out loud while exiting.” He was then taken into custody and charged.
