He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ; and he enjoyed hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herby J. and Clara Cartwright Flowers; and brothers: Marcell Flowers and Arvil Flowers.
He is survived by his brother, Linville Flowers of Cleveland; one niece; four nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Archey and Minister Bill Maynard officiating.
Interment will follow in Union Grove Christ of Christ Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
