She was born in Oak Ridge, on Jan. 24, 1955, a daughter of the late Joe Boon Tallent.
During her childhood the Tallent family moved to Sweetwater, where she lived until approximately 35 years ago, when she made Cleveland her home.
She was of the Christian faith. She was an avid animal lover including her current feline companion “Bailey,” she leaves behind. She loved spending time with close friends and family, was a loving and caring mother to Ashley, and cherished the title “Mimi” given to her by her grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Robert Henderson Longwith.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter and son-in-law, Ashely Longwith and Eduardo Espinoza; her mother, Betty Watson Tallent of Sweetwater; one sister and brother-in-law, Jamie and Keith Allison of Sweetwater; two grandchildren: Ashton Espinoza and Isabela Espinoza; one nephew, Chase Allison of Sweetwater; and a host of other extended family members and friends.
The funeral is planned for Friday, May 25, 2012, at 7 p.m. at the Broad Street United Methodist Church, 155 Central Ave. N.W in Cleveland.
The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. service time.
Interment will be Saturday, May 26, 2012, at noon at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
