Terry and Donna Brock of Georgetown announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Tara James, to Greg Scott, both of Charleston. The future bridegroom is the son of Rhonda Scott of Soddy Daisy and Wayne Scott of East Ridge.

The couple will wed on June 9 at the Museum Center at Five Points.

The bride-elect is the mother of Bailey James. She is the granddaughter of John and Juanita Cooper of Cleveland and the late Ben and Iva Fagg. She is the sister of Wendy Smith of Georgetown.

Ms. James attended Cleveland High School and is employed by Whirlpool.

Mr. Scott is the father of Austin Scott, Britany Scott and Alissa Scott. He is the grandson of Leonard Mincey of Soddy Daisy and the late Mert Mincey. He is the brother of Heather Boehning of Hixson.

A graduate of Hixson High School, he is employed by Volkswagen.

Ms. James and Mr. Scott both attend the Baptist Church.
