Bradley County Virtual School will hold a Parent Information Session today at 6 p.m. at GOAL Academy, 209 Sunset Drive.

This is not for those who have enrolled, rather it is for those who are interested in getting more information as they consider the educational options for their students for the coming year.

For students who are enrolled, parents will receive notification of enrollment status and information regarding the required Student/Parent Orientation session in July.

Bradley County Virtual School has begun accepting registrations for the 2012-13 school year. Registration began on June 1 with five students being enrolled that day.

“The registration process is simple,” said Zoe Renfro, principal of Bradley County Virtual School.

“Parents log into the Bradley County Schools website, www.bradleyschools.org, click on the Schools tab, click on the name of the school, click on Visit Website. When the Bradley County Virtual School page comes up, they click on How to Enroll. There they will see the instructions regarding enrollment.

“Next to item No. 1, they will see the word FORMS. This will take them to the enrollment forms link.

“Then click on Enrollment Forms and complete the required information,” she said.

Registration runs from now through July 20.

“We are very excited,” Renfro stated, “because we ... already have nine students registered. We are anticipating between 20 and 30, but are hoping for many more.”

Renfro can be reached at 464-5231 for more information.
