An adult summer reading program, “Between the Covers,” will run through Aug. 15 at the library. Adults are required to read 12 books for participation. Registration has begun for all of the library’s summer reading programs including children and teens. All events are open at no charge to the public.

FIVE POINTS FARMERS MARKET is open Thursday afternoons from 4 to 7 p.m. at First Street Square in historic downtown. You’ll find plenty of garden fresh produce, unique arts and crafts and more. “Road to Zanzibar” staring Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Dorothy Lamour will be shown in the Cleveland Bradley Community Room Tuesday at 7 p.m. This is part of the Classic Comedy Movie night series. All are invited to this public event.

“Dream Big … READ!” is the theme for this year’s children’s program at the library. The program will run through July 27. Stop by the Children’s Desk to register for summer activity sessions that will be held each week.

“Who Gets Grandmas Yellow Pie Plate?” is scheduled for Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the UT Extension office. The class will focus on the transfer of nontitled property. For registration information, call the UT Extension-Bradley County office at 728-7001.

An Improv Comedy Class will be held Friday as the library opens after hours for teens ages 13-17. Who Night: “Dr. Who” episodes and Bow Tie making will be activities for Saturday. All programs are from 7 to 9 p.m.

A book club discussion group will be reading “Unbroken” by Laura Hillenbrand July 12 in the Community Room at the library. The discussion will be led by Richard “Tiger” Jones. All are invited to this open book club group.

Calico Squares group dances in the second floor Community Room at the Garden Plaza of Cleveland, 3500 Keith St. N.W., every Tuesday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. For more information, call Teresa at 479-7790.

The Resume Writing class is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m. at the library. Reservations are taken at the non-fiction desk.
