Seventeen Polk County 4-H Members competed in the SEC Eastern Region Project Celebration Day activities held on the Cleveland State Campus recently. Participating in the project demonstration contest were 4-H members Iris Wilson, third-place Poultry; Keir Beth Cox, first-place Sheep; Brandi Bargeron, fourth-place clothing; Anna Fultz, first-place Companion Animals; Robin Coalson, first-place Electric; Shelby Boyd, second-place Food Science; and Blaine Collins, second-place Line and Design. 4-H members competing in the Public Speaking contest were Keri Beth Cox, Skylar Hatcher, Trea Waters, and Hannah McNelly. Participants in the Dairy Poster contest were Briley Beavers, Keri Beth Cox, and Ally Morrow. Participants in the Portfolio and Exhibit contest were Conner Bear, first-place portfolio; Jenny Bates, second-place Exhibit Wildlife; and Breanna O’Neal, second-place exhibit Line and Design. The 4-H members competed against other 4-H members from eight counties.
