Children of all ages are enjoying the opportunity to learn about life on the farm through a special program called Farm Life Academy. Farm Life Academy is a farm tour for kids that offers hands-on experiences with chicken, donkeys, ponies, rabbits, and horses. The tour also gives kids the opportunity to learn by asking questions, and even trying their hand at many of the jobs done daily on a working farm, such as feeding and caring for farm animals, planting, growing, and harvesting your own food from the garden, and even raising laying hens so that you can gather fresh eggs. Farm Life Academy, which is offered by Black Fox Equestrian Center, is located on Tunnel Hill Road in Bradley County. Farm Life Academy will be offering another opportunity for parents to bring their children on July 7, at 10 a.m. Visit FarmLifeAcademy.com for more information.
