People Helping People Ministry is hosting its 2nd Independence Day picture event Saturday,10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

All proceeds benefit the local charity People Helping People Ministry which supports other charities, such as the Polk County Food Bank, Eye Glasses for the Lions Club, Cell Phones for Troops, the Empty Stocking Fund, Coats for Kids, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The picture packages base price is $15. The contents of the package includes one 8x10 photo two 5x7 photos, and one sheet of wallet-sized photos.

The event will be held at People Helping People Ministry in Benton at 184 Mull Road. It is located approximately two miles north of the Highway 64/Highway 411 Bypass.

People Helping People provides necessary household items to people who have suffered from a major event, such as a natural disaster (like a tornado or a flood), fire, domestic violence, the loss of a job, and incarceration.
