An adult summer reading program, “Between the Covers” will run through Aug. 15. A Book Club discussion on “Unbroken” by Laura Hillenbrand will be held July 12 at 1 p.m. in the Community Room. Richard “Tiger” Jones will lead this discussion group.

COMMON THREADS QUILT CLUB will sponsor a quilt show Oct. 12 and 13 at the Mount Olive Church of God FMC building, 3533 Harrison Pike. “The Abduction” by Mark Gimenez will be reviewed at the July 20 Friends of the Library Association’s Book and Coffee Series. The review will be held at 10 a.m. at the Craigmiles-Johnston House History Branch Library. FOLA president Meg Campbell and Rita Cannon will review this highly acclaimed novel.
