Lake Preston-Self was named fifth-grade Scholar Athlete at Michigan Avenue School with the highest grade-point average. Preston-Self, who plays basketball for the Wolverines, was presented the award by Victor Boltniew of Tennessee Valley Retirement Solutions during fifth-grade graduation at Michigan Avenue. Preston-Self earned a trophy and a $100 savings bond for his hard work at school and on the basketball court.
