Willie Ruth Lewis Hutson, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012, in a local hospital.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Creed and Daisy Lewis, of Birchwood; husband, Virgil Lee Hutson; four brothers: W.T “Fid” Lewis, Glenn Lewis, Ralph Lewis and Kenneth “Jack” Lewis; and one grandson, Robert Hutson.

She is survived by her children: DeWitt Hutson, of Decatur, Donald (Anne) Hutson, of Chattanooga, Rickey (Delores) Hutson, of Sanger, Texas; and Randy Douglass Hutson, of Chattanooga; one brother, Rudolph Lewis, of Decatur; grandchildren: Deanna Lyn Hutson, Brenda Lea Hutson, Beth Ann Hutson, Donna (Gil) Ruiz, Jacen Baugh, Joshua (Laura) Hutson, Maria Hutson; eight great-grandchildren; and special niece, Phyllis Rountree.

The funeral will be at the graveside Monday, July 9, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the McInturff Cemetery.
