CSCC CAMP
Cleveland State Men’s Basketball Coach Lee Cigliano will conduct CSCC Youth Basketball Camps at the CSCC gym this summer. The camp will be held July 16-19 for ages 6-15. The cost of the camp will be $60 and includes a camp T-shirt. Camp hours, for both camps, will be 9 a.m. until noon. Campers will learn the basic fundamentals through individual drills and team play. TRIPLE THREAT CAMP
The Triple Threat Basketball Camp will be held July 23-26 for rising second through 10th graders. The second through fifth-grade camps will be for boys and girls and the sixth through 10th grade camps will be for girls only. The camps will be run by Amy Geren-McGowan and Rachel Moore. Second and thidr-grade camps will run from 8-10 a.m. at Mayfield School. Fourth and fifh grade camps will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Cleveland High School. Sixth through eighth-grade camps will be from 2-4 p.m. and ninth/10th-grade camps will be from 5-7 p.m.. The cost of hte camps are $100 with a $25 deposit to hold a spot. CSCC INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE
Cleveland State Baseball program will offer a five-week fall instructional league for high school aged players beginning Aug. 13 and running through Sept. 16. Players will have the opportunity to further develop baseball skills through instruction and games. WVHS CAMP
The 2012 Walker Valley Football Camp will be held July 16-19th from 9 a.m. until noon at Walker Valley High School. The Camp includes instruction, camp T-shirt and huddle sessions on motivation, life skills and academic responsibility. A daily snack will also be provided. BEARS KIDS CAMP
The Bradley Central Bears’ Kids Football Camp will be held July 25-27 from 9 a.m. until noon each day. The camp is for players from first through eighth grade. JUNIOR GOLF CLINIC
The Bradley County Junior Golf Clinic is being hosted by Cleveland Country Club for ages 5-17. The dates for the clinic are; July 23 and 30. Ages 5-10 will go from 8-9:30 a.m. and ages 11-17 will go from 9:45-11:15 a.m. There will be a final tournament Aug. 6. BRADLEY PIGSKIN OPEN
The third annual Bradley Pigskin Open will be held July 22 at the Chatata Valley Golf Course. The four-man select shot tournament will tee off at 1 p.m., with lunch provided at noon. DUSTIN LEDFORD SCHOLARSHIP TOURNAMENT
The Dustin Ledford Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held July 28 at the Chatata Valley Golf Course. The four-man select shot event will include lunch beginning at noon in the $45 per player entry fee before the 1 p.m. start. There will be prizes for the longest and straightest drives as well as closest to the pin. Hole sponsorships and mulligans are available. All donations for the scholarship fund will be appreciated. GARY SMITH MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
The Gary Smith Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit the Bradley Central boys and girls basketball programs, will be held Aug. 11 at the Chatata Valley Golf Club. The two-man select shot event will hold registration at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30. The $50 entry fee per player includes green and cart fees, as well as soft drinks and lunch,plus a diddy bag. The event will have two flights, determined by a nine-hole blind draw with prizes awarded to the top two teams in each, as well as longest drive, straightest drive and closest to the pin. WVHS Softball Tryouts
Walker Valley High School will be holding tryouts for the 2012-’13 softball team on July 16 and July 23 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the WVHS softball field. Athletes interested in playing for Walker Valley need to be at one of these dates. Participants must bring proof of having passed a physical to participate. Ocoee Middle School will hold softball tryouts on July 16 and July 23 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Players must come to at least one session, but may come to both. Proof of physical is required to try out.
CMS TRYOUTS
Tryouts for the Cleveland Middle School Lady Raiders softball team will he held Aug. 2, 3 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the CMS softball field.
CMS CAMP
The Cleveland Middle School softball camp will take place July 24-26 at the CMS softball field from 8:30 until 11 a.m. The camp is for fourth through eighth-grade athletes. 3-0N-3 TOURNAMENT
