Helen Robinson “Muzzy” Davis, 85, of Cleveland, passed away at her residence on Saturday, July, 14, 2012.
She was a devoted Christian, who was a loving mother and a friend to all who knew her.
She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church, a former employee of Schering-Plough and a graduate of East Nashville High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, German Daniel “Bud” Davis Jr.; and parents: Braxton McPeak “Mack” Robinson and Lena Mae “Ms. Lena” Harmon Robinson.
Survivors include five children: Jane Hixson and husband, Don, of McDonald, Janice and husband, J.W. “Bill” Skipper ,of Ellijay, Ga., Daniel Edward Davis and wife, Diane, of Middle Village, N.Y., Nancy Bowman and Lynda Dwyer and husband, Mike, all of Cleveland; eight grandchildren: Joseph William Skipper Jr., Stefanie Skipper, Carol Meacham, Lindsay Davis and husband, Bill, Mark Daniel Bowman, David Stephen Cofer and wife, Ann, Angela Cofer Wright and husband, Barry, Carrie Cofer Goldston and husband, Jerome; four great-grandchildren: Benjamin Austin Skipper, Will Davis, Alex Davis, and Benji Davis; sister, Eva Mae Posey of Murfreesboro; and two nieces.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with a memorial service immediately following.
The family will have a private burial service at Lakewood Memory Gardens-South in Rossville, Ga., with a white dove release concluding the service.
