LEIGH ANN BOYD, president of the Cleveland Kiwanis Club, met Sylvester Neal, Kiwanis International president at the 2012 Kiwanis International convention held in New Orleans. Neal hosted a reception for all distinguished members, including Boyd. She was presented with a pin and recognition during the convention. To qualify as a distinguished member for 2010-2011, Boyd had to sponsor two members; attend a midyear conference, international convention, or district convention; and participate in two or more Kiwanis service efforts.
