He was preceded in death by his parents, William Otis and Cara Cheek Curtis.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sharon Brown Curtis of Cleveland; children: Glenn “Scott” Curtis of Cleveland and Debbie Curtis Byrd of Knoxville; two grandchildren; sister, Joyce Hodge of Decatur; brothers: Billy Curtis and Randall “Randy” Curtis, both of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today, July 23, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Higgins, Daniel Roberts, Tom Rumba and Jerry Frazier officiating.
Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
