Deputy Adam Ensley of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 2nd Street address where he met with Renee Russell who reported someone had just stolen her car.
According to the report filed during the weekend, Russell said she and a neighbor were outside their apartments when her neighbor said, “Hey, there goes your car.”
Russell initially thought the driver could have been her boyfriend but realized he was inside her apartment at the time. The neighbor described the suspect as a white male who was approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and wearing a gray shirt and tan shorts.
Another witness reportedly saw the driver stop and pick up a passenger, then speed off toward Highway 64, according to the report.
Vehicle information was entered into the National Crime Information Center computer database.
There was no value listed on the 1994 green Camaro listed in the report.
- The property manager for a local rental residence reported the theft of appliances from a location on Harrison Pike.
Deputy Steve McCullough spoke with Tammy Parham, manager for Sodergren Properties.
Parham said someone had entered the residential property and took a General Electric range and refrigerator.
The items were last seen inside the residence Thursday.
There were no signs of forced entry to the residence, according to the report.
Maintenence personnel had changed the locks after the previous tenants had vacated the property.
The management company did not place an estimate on the loss.
