Registration is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and the show begins at 10:15 a.m. Admission is $3 per car. Contest entry fee is $5 per category.
Prizes will be awarded for the following categories: Cutest Dog (children 16 and under), Cutest Dog (adults 17 and up), Best Costume (children 16 and under), Best Costume (adults 17 and up), Most Unusual Markings, Ugliest Dog, Best Trick, Most Beautiful Female, Most Handsome Male, Dog That Looks Most Like Owner, Best Mutt, Best School Mascot Look-A-Like, Best Hound Dog, and People’s Choice. To qualify for the People’s Choice award, contestants must be registered in three categories.
Pooches to Pedigrees is a time to show off your special canine friend, win a ribbon or trophy, meet other dog lovers as well as suppliers of dog services and have a lot of fun. Spectators are welcome. For more information on the dog show, contact Chris Newton at (423) 829-0348.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. The mission of Kiwanis is to serve the children of the world. This event is a Kiwanis Fundraiser to assist youth of the Bradley County/Cleveland area by sponsoring Service Leadership Programs in the schools, benefiting children’s support programs, and providing scholarships.
